That was probably one of the most fun moments of South-by. The lights had just been blasted on at the Diplo/Mad Decent show (revealing the sticky linoleum floor in brain searing flourescent of the abandoned Sal Val) and everyone herded out post haste. Noobs here is texting me like crazy along with another dope - the Moon Tower is falling down essentially and the music there stopped too. I hop in a car with a buddy and just when we pull into the drive get word that the Palm Door is still knocking. The Starved one is looping all over town and selfishly I dart into this joint probably three minutes ahead of him. The bartenders were just pouring a row of some sponsorship vodka and energy-fizz and finally I realized why Jesse Keeler was hard enough to be in Death From Above 1979.
